These workshops offer a more considered approach than standard cookery classes.
They bring together practical learning, clear guidance, and open conversation, all centred around real food. The intention is not simply to teach recipes, but to build a genuine understanding of the process and reconnect with the traditions of proper breadmaking.
Each session is unhurried and thoughtfully structured, giving you time to work with the dough, ask questions, and learn in a supportive setting. It is about appreciating the craft, enjoying the process, and valuing food made with care.

Workshop plan
[/cz_title][vc_column_text css=””]
Because the full sourdough process – from starter preparation and mixing the dough through bulk fermentation, shaping, second proving, scoring and baking – normally takes around 36 hours, part of the preparation will be completed in advance for the workshop.
This allows participants to experience and understand each stage of sourdough baking within the session. During the workshop we will cover all the key steps together, while also discussing the full fermentation process so that you can confidently recreate it at home.
